new york, 2014, recap Simply Stylist NY was a huge success! The most stylish fashion and beauty lovers came together for an all-day Fashion and Beauty Conference at The Park Central Hotel along side our media partner Marie Claire.

The day kicked off with a VIP networking brunch at the Park Restaurant sponsored by derma e who provided fabulous gifts for everyone – insert girly squeals here! Simply Stylist founder Sarah Boyd, Jennifer Norman, VP of Marketing at derma e, and  Elissa Kravetz from the anti-bullying nonprofit The Farley Project spoke to the attendees. Afterwards, the Fashion and Beauty Panels took place with a coffee break hosted by Annie Finch of Katherine Cosmetics.

Fashion Blogger, Expert and Actress Jamie Chung started off the panel discussion with our host Catt Sadler of E! News and closed with our keynote speaker, Editor in Chief of YahooStyle, Joe Zee. Bloggers, Stylists, Entrepreneurs and Experts all shared their road to success and stories in between the two keynotes.

The Brand Experience concluded the day where brands showcased and sold their signature items at a discounted price, hosted contests, and gifted the attendees. These mini-crash courses hosted by Michelle Madonna, Alexandra Calame, Briana Pashcow, Dria Murphy, Rachel Schwartzmann, Beca Alexander and Daniel Saynt provided hands on opportunities for industry hopefuls to learn how to break into the business. If that wasn’t enough there was also pampering offered to attendees, including manicures, massage and spray tans by Priv, hair styling by Bed Head,  makeup touch-ups by Katherine Cosmetics, music by Jilly Hendrix and so much more. Other brands onsite were Dittos, derma e, Keaton Row, Harper Hallam, That Madonna Girl, Rack It Up, Crossroads Trading Co, Pulse Laser Skincare and Pretzel Crisp provided snacks. Rack It Up  hosted a happy hour to conclude the event.

A huge thank you to Rodial Skincare for hosting such a fabulous dinner for our team and the panelists at Hakkasan NY with delicious (much needed) cocktails and food!
