[blockquote_sty ver="1 or 2"]Mary Alice Haney, the founder and designer of luxury brand HANEY, has been creating some of the most memorable and glamorous images, both on and off the red carpet, for the past two decades. A renowned celebrity stylist and fashion editor, Mary Alice first refined her creative skills as a fashion student at Parson’s School of Design and during an editorial post at Harper’s Bazaar in Paris. Shortly after earning her MFA from the American Film Institute, she went on to hold a fashion position at Allure, where she worked alongside legendary fashion editor Polly Mellen. Mary Alice has also held west coast fashion editor posts at Marie Claire and GQ, where she styled numerous cover shoots and collaborated with world famous photographers such as Mario Testino, Regan Cameron, Mark Seliger and Norman Jean Roy.
Her love of the gorgeous and glamorous, mixed with an extensive knowledge of couture designers, Hollywood costume designers and the film and fashion industries, has cemented Mary Alice’s signature style—a sophisticated sexiness that exudes luxury and confidence—and catapulted her career as one of the industry's most sought after stylists. She has dressed some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Eva Mendes and Reese Witherspoon. Mary Alice believes that any woman can be sexy and glamorous, and created each dress in the Haney collection to enhance and flatter the figure with impeccable tailoring, luxurious fabrics and luxe embellishments.[/blockquote_sty]

Christy Coleman is a makeup artist and expert with over thirty years of experience in the beauty industry. Spending summers on the family farm in rural Oklahoma, Christy would flip through fashion magazines while sitting in the wheat truck waiting to go to the grain elevator. Her future in beauty was sealed at age 13 when she picked up Way Bandy’s “Designing Your Face”. At 18, she was a certified aesthetician. By 20, she owned her boutique spa.
It wasn’t long before she headed the call of New York City, and found herself backstage at Fashion Week assisting Kevyn Aucoin at Marc Jacobs’ legendary grunge runway show for Perry Ellis. Since then, Christy has traveled the world, working with visionaries across media and entertainment. Her editorial work has appeared in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour and Vanity Fair and in advertising campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, and Victoria’s Secret. She’s been tapped by photographers Arthur Elgort, Irving Penn, Patrick Demarchelier, and Bruce Weber to work with top models Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, Karlie Kloss, Miranda Kerr, and Alessandra Ambrosio and sought out by celebrities like Emmy Rossum, Amanda Peet, and Connie Britton.
Whether harvesting vegetables from her grandfather’s garden as a kid or exploring the aisles at the first Whole Foods in Austin as a teen, Christy has always been drawn to a healthy lifestyle. But in 2005, when she lost her father to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease), she made the commitment to go beyond organic food and all-natural cleaning supplies and apply her philosophy to her professional life. She said goodbye to conventional cosmetics and rebuilt her makeup kit from the ground up, using only skincare, cosmetics, and tools that would protect her client’s safety and well-being too. Christy has been a voice for clean beauty ever since.
In 2010, Christy was sought out by Beautycounter’s CEO and Founder Gregg Renfrew for her depth of knowledge and professional expertise. Discovering Beautycounter’s mission to cultivate beautiful, results-driven products completely free from harmful chemicals was very much aligned with her ideals, she joined forces with Gregg. As head of creative design (and curator of all things beautiful), Christy is instrumental in developing Beautycounter’s ever expanding collection of safe personal care products and cosmetics. From ideation and formulation to testing and launch, Christy is there every step of the way, ensuring each product meets high performance standards while being equally luxurious to use.
Christy lives in Venice, California, with her dog, Rider Pearl.
