Introducing Our Keynote Speaker, Alessandra Ambrosio

First things first: You know all about the Simply Stylist LA Fashion and Beauty Conference, right? Of course you do! We have been working day in and day out to make this year's conference our best yet and we are so excited to announce our Keynote Speaker: Alessandra Ambrosio!

You may know her as one of the angel-wing-adorned mega babes who works the runway every year in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Maybe you've seen her countless editorial spreads and ad campaigns in your favorite glossies. Perhaps you even follow along with the lavish goings on of her fab life on her blog and Instagram. However it is that you know her, there's no doubt that Alessandra is on your radar. Not only has she been the body pinned the most on our Pinterest "Fitness" board, but she's also been inspiring us for years with her entrepreneurial spirit and effortless style. From one of the most recognizable Supermodels in the world to activist to global fashion brand ambassador, Alessandra Ambrosio has successfully developed a diverse and multi-talented career.

Alessandra emerged into the international modeling world as part of the Brazilian invasion in the late 90's. Her career was launched at the legendary "Elite Models Look", following which she was featured on the cover of Elle Magazine, her first of over 70 international magazine covers. She has appeared on Love, numerous Vogues, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Elle, Russh, Rolling Stone, GQ and Marie Claire to name a few.

She is most known for her work with Victoria's Secret and is currently an internationally recognized Victoria's Secret Angel and has been a global spokesperson for the lingerie giant for over 10 years. She was the first ambassador for the Victoria's Secret Pink line launching the brand at a nationwide tour in 1999. Aside from the commercial market, Alessandra has also been the face and global brand ambassador of many notable fashion brands including Dolce and Gabbana, Loewe, Moschino, GUESS, Revlon, Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani, Armani Exchange, Rolex, Oscar de la Renta, Escada, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. She has walked in shows for some of the biggest designers in fashion including Dolce and Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Giles Deacon.

While maintaining an illustrious career in front of the cameras and beyond, Alessandra is also a devoted mother to daughter Anja and son Noah and has learned to balance a demanding career with her life as a loving mother.

She has also appeared in many hit TV shoes such as "Entourage", "How I Met Your Mother", "Project Runway", "Gossip Girl", and has had hosting roles for awards shows such as "The MTV Music Awards" and "Fashion Rocks".

No stranger to charity, Alessandra is also an ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, appearing in public service announcements for the organization as well as lending her name and image to those who need it most with veritable Haitian Relief Efforts.
