Blogger of the Week: Kimberly Kong of Sensible Stylista

featured8.jpg

Kimberly Kong of Sensible Stylista has mastered the art of multi-tasking. She’s a doctorate student by day and a fashion blogger by night, which is why we are so excited to announce that she is this week’s Blogger of the Week! Who says fashion and music can’t overlap? Kimberly Kong is currently getting her DMA in Piano Performance and second Master’s in Musicology! Sounds like a handful, right? Well, as if her schedule isn’t busy enough, Kim loves sharing her love for fashion through her blog, Sensible Stylista! Although she doesn’t consider herself to be a style expert, she enjoys finding good deals, writing makeup reviews, and working out, which serve as the foundation for her blog posts! When she isn’t busy with school or Sensible Stylista, Kim (like the rest of us) binge watches Netflix and, on occasion, shares what items she’s currently obsessing over!

Check out her 5 must-have items below:

Stila Liquid Liner: I absolutely LOVE eyeliner - in my opinion, there's nothing sexier than a solid cat eye.  I seriously feel naked without it!  I always make sure to apply it (along with mascara, of course) even if I'm in a rush. I'd be SO bummed if Stila discontinued this product.  It is, hands down, the most amazing eyeliner you'll ever use.

Pur Cameo Contour Stick & Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette: I've always been a powder-contour kind of girl, but I gotta say, cream contouring kind of rocks... and by "kind of," I mean "totally," ha. I currently use both in my make-up routine! They're must-haves because they add polish and dimension to my overall look!

Stuart Weitzman Highlands: I LIVE in these babies during the winter because they ooze sexy.  They look amazing over jeans or with a dress.  You can always count of them to up your fashion game on any and every occasion.  I own them in black, but they look incredible in gray as well!

A LBD: Every girl needs a solid LBD in their wardrobe.  Whether it's a hot date or a fun night out with friends, rock one with some statement jewelry, and you'll be breaking necks left and right!  I've found fabulous options at stores like Target, Ann Taylor, H&M, and ASOS!

Artistry Youth Xtend Enriching Cream: I'm all about saving, but I'm not afraid to splurge on skincare!  Artistry's enriching cream is my current favorite because it works overnight to "reprogram" my skin.  It repairs existing damage and encourages skin's natural youth protein production!  In my humble opinion, this cream works JUST as well as La Mer's famous moisturizing soft cream.
